I never understood white walls on a Trans Am. Firebird Espirit, ok, white walls are clean and fine, but a Trans Am, the high end sports and muscle car for Pontiac? A t-top car no less, really white walls? What are people thinking. Found this nice looking 79 online at an auction in Texas. Cool car anyway, of course I would drive it with white wall tires. Right down to a tire place to get some 265 x 60 x 15s put on there!
Get to know your shaker hood. Operational flap? vacuum controlled? 77/78 where it looked too low in the hood. Earlier years where it was more rounded? Are you putting TA 6.6 decals on your Olds motor, when it should say Litre? Turbo hood, with the offset molded in shaker? All the shakers are cool, pick your favorite! Do you have the ultra rare SD Firebird with a shaker hood, less than 50 made.
Great flash back to some GM concept cars. The Pontiac Trans Am wagon, sport hatchback or whatever that thing was. That rear end was so low, I can’t imagine carrying anything without making it drop down even further.
